I wanted to combine the physical and representational wood by recreating miniature trees in wooden, caged environments. The cages aren't entirely wood (part cardboard) and also contain key features of living things... like feathers, fur, skin and bone.
For the scratching assignment, I wanted capture the reactions of someone getting scratched... the rest is explained in the video.
